September 2018 - Crash reported when opening FSTAC
We are getting reports that FSTAC is crashing upon opening for some users. We had some problems in the past with reports saving properly and the work around was to back up via iTunes and then re-import them to save back to the app. iTunes continues to change how it handles reports so we continue to have to find solutions.
The fix is to uninstall and reinstall FSTAC - however doing so will delete any reports you have saved.
To save reports to a computer first, follow these steps.
1. Connect your iPad to a computer and then open iTunes.
2. Under Apps (in iTunes) you should see a window that shows file sharing at the bottom.
3. Drag any reports you have saved to your computer and then delete them from the app. This essentially clears out saved reports on the iPad.
4. Uninstall FSTAC and then reinstall it.
This should resolve the issue you've having!
If you continue to have issues, please let us know.
We'll be updating a fix in the near future, sorry for the trouble!

March 2017 - STAC 2.5 & FSTAC 1.6
- Update to report management in STAC & FSTAC - A bug was recently found that would hide reports in the lookup section when reports were 'Resent' to an email address. The code has been fixed in versions FSTAC 1.6 and STAC 2.5, however the result is that all saved reports will be hidden from view in the app. The fix for this is to connect your iPad to the computer and download the reports via iTunes
- NEW FEATURE - with STAC 2.5 and FSTAC 1.6, users can now connect the iPad to a computer and download via iTunes. This prevents the need to email reports, which in some cases is a preferred method for transmitting reports. See https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201301 for more information on file sharing.
- FIXED - a small bug was found that would crash FSTAC during report generation. The crash would only happen if a user entered multiple incorrect 25 cent options.
- E-Mail Lag - some users are still reporting a delay in time that it takes to email reports. These reports are inconsistent and seems to be a factor of server speed and virus scanning by the email client. If the delay is prohibitive, consider using the file sharing to transmit reports to your computer via iTunes. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201301
